For the latest information about the Coronavirus (including the list of countries) please click here

If you are concerned that you are at risk from the Coronavirus please telephone 111 for advice.

Due to the Coronavirus situation we are having to change the way in which we provide our care. We have been advised to limit attendances at the surgery to an absolute minimum. We have reduced online booking of appointments and we are now undertaking routine consultations via telephone and will be offering telephone triage appointments for urgent on the day problems.

Due to the high volume of demand please try to use alternative resources where possible. we would recommend the reliable information provided through the NHS Website www.nhs.uk. We would also recommend using your local pharmacy where possible for treating minor conditions.

Further information is available www.nhs.uk/conditions/wuhan-novel-coronavirus/ or gov.uk/coronavirus

In February 2019 services at the Edridge Road Community Health Centre was taken over by a new organisation, East Croydon Medical Centre. This partnership was formed in 1884 and has seen and undergone many changes over the years. In 2004 the surgery name was changed in order to bring it up to date and carry the ethos of a strong belief in the traditional family doctor relationship that we then combine with the efficiency and wide range of services we are able to offer in a modern practice. Edridge Road Communith Health Centre premises is a purpose built health centre situated in busy Central Croydon, and within a close 1km proximity of its sister practice East Croydon Medical Centre. At the moment with the ever increasing population within the surrounding area, Edridge Road Community Health Centre is being led to be at forefront of medical care within a busy and ever changing part of Croydon. With that the population is vastly growing and in order to be able to serve the community efficiently Edridge Road Community Health Centre will be going through a number of developments which will be duly communicated to our patients.
